Ashmee Bharadia
Ashmee Bharadia is Vice President for Accellacare In Home Services, part of ICON plc. She joined ICON in 2011, working with the largest strategic account in various project management roles and as a Clinical Program Manager for cardiovascular. Ashmee started her career in progressive roles from CRA to project management across Sanofi Aventis, Schering Plough, Novartis and Amgen covering respiratory, immunology, infectious, dermatology and neurology.
In 2016, Ashmee held a leadership position with a small CRO focused on developing the project management group and gained experience working with innovative start up and biotech companies. Ashmee also established a new group focused on strategic business optimisation, technology implementation, and global process improvements working with the corporate and operational leadership.
Ashmee holds qualifications in Lean Six Sigma and Change Management, and a BSc (Hons) in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Queen Mary, University of London.
Dinah Knotts
Dinah has been working in the clinical research industry for over 25 years and in her current role is leading the Accellacare Site Network for North America. She started her career working at University Park Research Center as a study coordinator then moving to the CRO side as a CRA and progressing in various study leadership roles. She moved to Sarah Cannon Research Institute as Director of Clinical Operations working closely with the site network on both sponsor and investigator initiated trials.
Dinah has been at ICON for over 11 years and has held many leadership roles across multiple therapeutic areas including oncology, cardiovascular, rare disease, vaccines, dermatology, CNS and gastrointestinal. She has over 5 years’ experience leading and overseeing the operational delivery of large Tier 1 partnerships with the largest having over 75 active studies and achieving over $300 million in new awards. Dinah lead the operational delivery of the first Pfizer COVID vaccine study with over 48,000 subjects enrolled, receiving Emergency Use Authorization in an unprecedented 247 days and full FDA approval in record time.
Dinah holds a BA in Mathematics from Purdue University and Post Graduate Diploma in International Business Management, University College of Dublin, Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
Michala Worrell
Michala Worrell is Vice President, Operations, EMEA for Accellacare, ICON’s global site network. Prior to this, Michala worked at ICON for six years as Senior Director managing a team of Project Managers and Directors in Oncology & Cell Therapeutics division in addition to serving as the operations lead for a key strategic client overseeing a large portfolio of trials in various indications. Before joining ICON Michala worked for ten years at AstraZeneca holding a number of project management positions with increasing levels of responsibility and then joined Quintiles where she spent three years as the Oncology Portfolio Lead for a strategic partner. Michala holds a post-graduate certificate in management from Leicester University.
